Spring Greenhouse Show Tours & Reception

Coffee and refreshments will be served at the green Cottage from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, when Horticulturist Rosemary Aldridge will offer tours of the Greenhouse Show at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Spring Greenhouse Bulb & Plant Sale

Join us for a one-day plant sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 in Elizabeth Park's historic greenhouse.

Rose Pruning Workshop by Rosarian Stephen Scanniello

Rosarian Stephen Scanniello will lead a Pruning Workshop on Tuesday, April 1 in Elizabeth Park's historic rose garden. Participants may arrive at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for a lesson with Stephen, and are asked to bring their own gloves and pruners. Suggested donation for the Workshop is $10 per person. 

Stephen Scanniello is president of the Heritage Rose Foundation, curator of the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden at the New York Botanical Garden, and earlier in his career spent 17 years at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, most of them rebuilding the Cranford Rose Garden. He also has written a half-dozen books about roses.
