Winter Jazz Brunch with the Nat Reeves Student Jazz Ensemble

Join the Elizabeth Park Conservancy for a delicious Sunday brunch and live jazz concert onstage at the Pond House in Elizabeth Park. Internationally renowned bassist and Associate Professor of Music Nat Reeves and his talented students from The Hartt School, Jackie McLean Jazz Studies Division will give a special performance to benefit the gardens at Elizabeth Park. The group will perform jazz standards and selections from the iconic Great American Songbook, a collection of the most memorable American music from the 1920s to the '50s.

Spring Greenhouse Show and Tours

Elizabeth Park Conservancy opens its Spring Greenhouse Show on Friday, March 15 featuring a spectacular array of spring bulbs and plants grown by Conservancy Horticulturist Rosemary Aldridge; Head Gardener Peter Winne; Gardeners Wesley Gage, David Rivera and Stephanie Bahramian; Park Gardener Vincent Boyce and many volunteers.

Rose Pruning Workshop with Rosarian Stephen Scanniello

Rosarian Stephen Scanniello will lead a Pruning Workshop on Tuesday, April 9 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and in Elizabeth Park's historic rose garden. Participants may arrive at 9:00 AM or at any time during the day for a lesson with Stephen, and are asked to bring their own gloves and pruners.

Suggested donation for the Workshop is $10 per person.

Pruning Workshop by ARS Master Rosarian Mike Fuss of CT Rose Society

ARS Master Rosarian Mike Fuss of the CT Rose Society will lead a Pruning Workshop on Wednesday, April 17 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Elizabeth Park's historic rose garden. Please meet in the green Cottage at 9:00 AM. Participants are asked to bring their own gloves and pruners. The rain date is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24.
