Elizabeth Park has tennis and basketball courts, ball fields, a playground and lawn bowling, and walking circuits. The Conservancy encourages all manner of sports and recreation in the Park, but we ask you to be respectful of the delicate trees and gardens located throughout the grounds. Please restrict your sporting activities to the open lawns, the ball fields, and courts provided throughout the Park. No sports are permitted in or around the garden areas.

Walk-Run in the Park
Elizabeth Park has many walking and running areas, along the gravel walks, park roads and lovely hidden pathways. East Lawn has a track for walking or running that is approximately one-half mile.
The Western Loop walk from the Pond House and back is about .6 miles. The distance from the Donaghue stone arch entrance on Prospect Avenue, around the rose garden, past the Pond House, along Asylum Ave and back onto Prospect to the entrance is about one mile. Any combination of these make a good walk or run in the Park.
