Paint Beautiful Spring Tulips – Encore Session

Join the Elizabeth Park Conservancy for an additional Paint Beautiful Spring Tulips class in March.

Paint Beautiful Spring Tulips – Encore Session

The Elizabeth Park Conservancy will be offering an encore session of Paint Beautiful Spring Tulips on Sunday, March 15, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Like the first class, this session is part of the Introduction to Botanical Art for Adult Learners (18 and up) series. The class will take place in the Cottage conference room, located in the small green building that houses the Conservancy’s offices.

The class will be taught by botanical artist Betsy Rogers-Knox, who has taught several classes here throughout the year, including the Introduction to Botanical Art for Adult Learners series. For more information on Betsy, an award-winning botanical artist and experienced instructor, please visit www.rogersknoxart.com.

In March, the Elizabeth Park Conservancy previews spring with a greenhouse bulb show. Walk through the show and see tulips that will inspire your painting. The class will present step-by-step watercolor techniques to capture the beauty of spring tulips, and a simple template will be provided. This is an adult education class (18 and up). All skill levels are welcome, and personalized instruction will be provided. A materials list will be provided to those who register. Class size is limited to 10 attendees.

The cost is $65 per person. Visit TulipArtEncore.eventbrite.com to purchase tickets.
