Park History & Grounds Tour

Learn more about the Park and its rich history while enjoying its scenic beauty.

In 2006, David Wilson became the first Executive Director of the Elizabeth Park Conservancy. During his tenure, both the written history of the Park and the guided tour program were established, with David serving as one of the organization’s first tour guides.

The tour is FREE and begins at 10 AM at the flagpole in front of the Cottage (the small green building).

Please note that the History Tour is a walking tour that includes steps, grassy areas, uneven ground, and narrow paths, and may be difficult for visitors with mobility limitations. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
