Volunteer
Join us in preserving and caring for Elizabeth Park.
The mission of the Elizabeth Park Conservancy is to maintain, preserve, restore, and promote the gardens and grounds of Elizabeth Park, with the Helen S Kaman Rose Garden and the Sue B. Hart Perennial Garden at its center.
The Conservancy is actively seeking volunteers, and we have multiple year-round opportunities at Elizabeth Park.
Volunteer opportunities are available throughout Elizabeth Park:
• Helen S Kaman Rose Garden
• Sue B. Hart Perennial Garden
• Heritage Rose Garden
• Robert A. Prill Annual Garden
• Robert A. Prill Tulip Garden
• Julian and Edith Eddy Rock Garden (also known as the Shade Garden)
• Charlie Ortiz Hosta Garden
• Horticultural Gardens
Additional Areas at Elizabeth Park
• The Kim Arboretum
• Sweetland-Patricelli Greenhouse Complex
The Conservancy offers volunteer and educational opportunities across a wide range of disciplines. We encourage you to contact us at headhouse@elizabethparkct.org if any of these areas of the Park are of interest to you.
